Financial Services
Controller:
Paul V. Loeffler, is another of
our in-house CPA's, functioning as Zalco's Controller and assisting CFO
Michael Falla in managing Zalco's largest
headquartered service arm - the Financial Services Division. In his 20+
years as a CPA, Paul has served as in-house CFO, VP of Finance or Controller to several Washington-area companies, and has spent over half of his career in the real estate arena, running accounting operations for various real-estate-related entities, which include a construction company, various commercial office and retail owners, and specialty property management and leasing companies. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Business Management and Industrial Technology, and like most of Zalco's senior management, is a Washington-area native, born and raised in suburban Maryland.
Cash
Management:
Jane Clark, has been with
Zalco since 1972 and is our longest-tenured employee. Jane serves as
the company's Corporate Secretary/Treasurer and Supervisor of Cash
Management. Among her many responsibilities, Jane maintains all of Zalco's internal corporate books and records and has charge of approximately 300 operating and reserve accounts. She and her Cash Management staff continually monitor all deposits and payments, insuring that client ledgers remain in balance at all times. She is also a key player in the audit process for Zalco's clients, assuring that the auditors receive current and accurate bank information. Jane attended The College of William and Mary and Boston University and has been a Washington-area resident since 1965.

Human
Resources and Transition Administration
Susan Yoffe, has been part of the Zalco family
for over 20 years and presently serves as our Director of Human
Resources and Transition Administration. Her most-vital responsibility
is the administration of all payroll, human resources, and employee-benefit
programs for the 600-plus personnel currently required for Zalco's
total service operations. Susan is also our transition administrator
for all newly acquired or recently terminated management contracts,
in which capacity she, among other things, functions as the
direct liaison between Zalco and the transitioning management
company, coordinating the exchange of all records, data and
other related documentation. Susan has a Bachelor of Science
in Accounting from American University and has been a Washington-area
resident since 1979.
