Over the last three decades, our Commercial Division has managed scores of commercial properties throughout the greater-Washington area. Our portfolio has included marquee office properties such as 'The Investment Building', one of Washington's most-recognizable downtown landmarks, and marquee clients such as Howard University and The American College of Surgeons. Today our commercial management/leasing portfolio is more diversified than ever, with a varied array of office buildings, warehouse/flex properties, shopping centers and other retail space. Our management can also be customized to the client's specific needs, on both a full-service and limited-service (e.g., leasing only, or financial only, etc.) basis.

As with Residential Property Management, our commercial clients have access to the most diverse management package in greater Washington, with a broad array of in-house service categories such as Engineering, Financial, Commercial Brokerage, Legal Liaison and others. In addition, our commercial managers are among the most-experienced in the company, all with at least two professional management designations, which, as detailed more in our Affiliations and Designations section, demonstrates that these individuals have acquired substantial industry experience and completed challenging courses of continuing education and training. And all of our property-management clients receive coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, every day of the year. After-hours and on weekends and holidays, we have managers on call by pager and/or cell phone, who are immediately available to respond to any emergency.

Zalco's winning combination of experienced managers, substantial in-house resources and extensive operational coverage gives our commercial-management clients a feeling of security, allowing them to focus on other matters that need their attention. If the facts were otherwise, we could never have become as successful as we are today.
