Affiliations And Designations

Almost all of our property managers have been awarded at least one professional designation. Some are 'Certified Property Managers' (CPM) as designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM); IREM is the national organization and educational arm of the National Association of Realtors. Others are 'Professional Community Association Managers' (PCAM) as designated by the Community Associations Institute (CAI); the PCAM designation is the highest in the country for community association managers. In addition to one or both of these, most of our managers also hold the 'Certified Manager of Community Associations' (CMCA) designation through the National Board Certification of Community Association Managers. All of these designations demonstrate that the manager has acquired extensive experience in the field of property management and successfully completed rigorous courses of study as administered by the respective institution. With so many experienced and educated managers, we are able to offer our clients the strongest possible leadership available in the marketplace.

Like its employees, Zalco as a firm is also recognized in the industry. In 1983, Zalco earned its designation as an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) from IREM. This designation is awarded only to those organizations that have met the most stringent professional and educational criteria set for the real estate management industry and have demonstrated the highest standards of excellence in property and asset management. In 1995, CAI awarded Zalco the designation of Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC), which is the most elite designation that a company can obtain in the industry. Only 80 other firms in the nation have been so honored.
